With a little luck, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Oscar Passet got control of the ball when Teodoro Ishmael tried to sneak it across the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Natalio Ferman notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Machine Gun Kelly's Carolo Ruisko. Machine Gun Kelly's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Natalio Ferman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Oscar Passet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cayetano Ihintza in the 28th minute of play. Carolo Ruisko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Natalio Ferman went, in the 32nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Natalio Ferman took the ball and in the 35 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carolo Ruisko. Carolo Ruisko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. In the 38th match minute, San Lorenzo de Sarandi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eustaquio Tiadoro to maneuver through the defense. In the 40thth minute of the game Natalio Ferman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Machine Gun Kelly's Carolo Ruisko was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Natalio Ferman might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carolo Ruisko. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Natalio Ferman ran back to his position shaking his head. 45 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalkeeper Oscar Passet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cayetano Ihintza. The Machine Gun Kelly players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. San Lorenzo de Sarandi were winning 0-4.

In the 53rd minute, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Natalio Ferman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Carolo Ruisko. Carolo Ruisko yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. 57 minutes into the match, Natalio Ferman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Carolo Ruisko. Teodoro Ishmael charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Teodoro Ishmael the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Teodoro Ishmael kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. San Lorenzo de Sarandi made a substitution. Eliseo Bingen replaced Natalio Ferman. A collision led to Machine Gun Kelly getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Teodoro Ishmael hit a great ball. In the 65th minute, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Eliseo Bingen dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-7. In the 71st minute, Eustaquio Tiadoro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 77th minute San Lorenzo de Sarandi were awarded a corner. Nico Otamendi went to the cornerflag to take it. When the match clock showed 80 minutes, the score became 0-8 when Eliseo Bingen sped through Machine Gun Kelly's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carolo Ruisko. Oscar Passet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Venceslas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute of the match Machine Gun Kelly got a corner. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Teodoro Ishmael ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 86th minute Blas Francho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Ruisko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eliseo Bingen's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 86thth minute, Carolo Ruisko skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A hard shot 91 in the game by Eliseo Bingen from a close distance when the talented Carolo Ruisko managed to make a qualified save. Machine Gun Kelly's players were relieved. Eliseo Bingens short, quick shot in the 96thth minute got Carolo Ruisko to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. San Lorenzo de Sarandi's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
