Eustaquio Sengrat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacobo Avellaneda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, LiBeRiA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Diego Latorre came free, but Eustaquio Sengrat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacobo Avellaneda charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacobo Avellaneda the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 10 played minutes Defensores de Lombroso got a freekick which was hit by Jacobo Avellaneda. When Damaso Reyes came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the LiBeRiA F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damaso Reyes couldn't finish the play. LiBeRiA F.C.'s Eustaquio Sengrat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arsenio Eudoxio in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute Defensores de Lombroso were awarded a corner. Jacobo Avellaneda went to the cornerflag to take it. After a defensive mix-up in LiBeRiA F.C.'s zone, Lin Liang stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eustaquio Sengrat came out of the goal and Lin Liang tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eustaquio Sengrat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Cidro in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Salva Moresco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Janpier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gogo Bertran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Celso Janpier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Defensores de Lombroso's Celso Janpier got control of the ball when Salva Moresco tried to sneak it across the goal line. 42 minutes into the match, LiBeRiA F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Eudoxio came free, but Eustaquio Sengrat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arsenio Eudoxio in the 43rd minute of play forced LiBeRiA F.C.'s goalkeeper Eustaquio Sengrat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arsenio Eudoxio made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Salva Moresco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celso Janpier. Defensores de Lombroso's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Salva Moresco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. 59 minutes into the match, Defensores de Lombroso's Ramiro Cidro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eustaquio Sengrat narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Damaso Reyes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celso Janpier. Defensores de Lombroso's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damaso Reyes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 72nd match minute, Defensores de Lombroso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arsenio Eudoxio to maneuver through the defense. Damaso Reyes hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 77th minute, Prospero Musko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vinicio Jayvier's late challenge caught a LiBeRiA F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vinicio Jayvier helped the player get up and apologised. In the 79th minute, Vinicio Jayvier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Salva Moresco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 87th minute Salva Moresco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Janpier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Domingos Cedro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, Defensores de Lombroso's goal looked a bit too open when Salva Moresco came free, but Celso Janpier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Defensores de Lombroso players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for LiBeRiA F.C..
