The corner was taken by Jacobo Avellaneda in the 11th minute. Diego Latorre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Txatxu having to interfere. After 15 played minutes Defensores de Lombroso got a freekick which was hit by Diego Latorre. In the 17th minute, Jacobo Avellaneda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Defensores de Lombroso fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. In the 20th match minute, Defensores de Lombroso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fang Yue Ling to maneuver through the defense. Arsenio Eudoxio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Paulo Txatxu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. With a little luck, Q. T. I.'s Paulo Txatxu got control of the ball when Diego Latorre tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes had been played when some careless play by Q. T. I.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jacobo Avellaneda was slow to take the kick. During this time Defensores de Lombroso's players had a chance to rest. In the 27th minute, Arsenio Eudoxio reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Paulo Txatxu. The goal made the score 2-0. If Lin Liang had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vinicio Jayvier hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Defensores de Lombroso's zone, Ermegildo Sotil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celso Janpier came out of the goal and Ermegildo Sotil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 46 minutes into the match, Q. T. I.'s goalkeeper Paulo Txatxu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Diego Latorre. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arsenio Eudoxio to strike the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Q. T. I.'s goal looked a bit too open when Arsenio Eudoxio came free, but Paulo Txatxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 54 minutes into the match, Delmiro Macerio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Celso Janpier. Defensores de Lombroso's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Delmiro Macerio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. José Luis Cucciufo hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Defensores de Lombroso made a substitution. Miguel-Angel Merentiel replaced Ramiro Cidro. In the 64th match minute, Defensores de Lombroso was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Luis Cucciufo to maneuver through the defense. Defensores de Lombroso's Celso Janpier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Defensores de Lombroso from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Defensores de Lombroso's Jacobo Avellaneda got a free kick in the 77th minute. Nestor Chap could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Celso Janpier made a huge save. The supporters of Q. T. I. booed when Defensores de Lombroso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jacobo Avellaneda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 80thth minute of the game Domingos Cedro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Q. T. I.'s Paulo Txatxu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Delmiro Macerio took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Celso Janpier. Celso Janpier dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2.
