Luisito Quinton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabrício Mesquita in the 4th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrício Mesquita in the 8th minute of play forced Potencial Desperdiciado F's goalkeeper Luisito Quinton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luisito Quinton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabrício Mesquita in the 9th minute. Herminio Bastian hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Potencial Desperdiciado F's Angelo Frans got a free kick in the 14th minute. The supporters of ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA booed when Potencial Desperdiciado F was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herminio Bastian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gabriel Turi might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Luisito Quinton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Turi ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 21 minutes, Constantino Quinton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's supporters crossed their fingers, but Constantino Quinton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA booed when Potencial Desperdiciado F was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herminio Bastian didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luisito Quinton came out of the goal in the 30th minute to try and stop a shot by ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Fabrício Mesquita. But to his dismay, Fabrício Mesquita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Luisito Quinton made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabrício Mesquita in the 34th minute. Fabrício Mesquita who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 40thth minute tested the skills of Luisito Quinton when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 41 minutes into the game, Felipe Guib was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Potencial Desperdiciado F's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA the free kick. The supporters of ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA booed when Potencial Desperdiciado F was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felipe Guib didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 43rd minute, Constantino Quinton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Luisito Quinton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrício Mesquita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Potencial Desperdiciado F's Aaron Idacio got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Aaron Idacio charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aaron Idacio the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 57 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Fabrício Mesquita broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A collision led to Potencial Desperdiciado F getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Aaron Idacio hit a great ball. 70 minutes into the match, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Gabriel Turi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Luisito Quinton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 72 minutes of play, ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA's Fabrício Mesquita made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luisito Quinton was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 82nd minute Fabrício Mesquita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisito Quinton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Constantino Quinton got his second yellow card in the match during the 91st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Potencial Desperdiciado F booed when ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Quinton didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicolas Guter got free with Tautvydas Mickevičius in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luisito Quinton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Mesquita in the 95th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the ESTUDIANTES de la PLATA players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
