The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Ermegildo Sotil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serafin Maurino having to interfere. Serafin Maurino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ignacio Ignatius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Serafin Maurino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ignacio Ignatius in the 7th minute of the match. Desiderio Restu charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Desiderio Restu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 8th match minute, PINGO PINGO was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Desiderio Restu to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to PINGO PINGO getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. António Frankenhaeuser hit a great ball. Emilio Markel hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. PINGO PINGO's Serafin Maurino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Macerio in the 17th minute of play. Serafin Maurino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Delmiro Macerio in the 19th minute of the match. 25 minutes into the match, Q. T. I.'s goalkeeper Paulo Txatxu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernabe Oto. PINGO PINGO's Serafin Maurino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nestor Chap in the 26th minute of play. In the 33rd minute Ermegildo Sotil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafin Maurino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Q. T. I. getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Ignacio Ignatius hit a great ball. Serafin Maurino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ermegildo Sotil in the 41st minute of play. Serafin Maurino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nestor Chap in the 42nd minute of the match. When German Veto came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Q. T. I. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that German Veto couldn't finish the play. Ermegildo Sotil charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ermegildo Sotil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes Q. T. I. got a freekick which was hit by Ermegildo Sotil. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 51st minute Desiderio Restu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Txatxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Txatxu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernabe Oto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Vimaro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Txatxu having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when German Veto got free with Serafin Maurino in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Delmiro Macerio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Serafin Maurino came out and tried to block the shot, but Delmiro Macerio slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 73rd minute. In the 78th minute, Domingos Giraldo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felipe Vimaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Macerio in the 81st minute of play forced PINGO PINGO's goalkeeper Serafin Maurino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Felipe Vimaro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Q. T. I.'s goal looked a bit too open when Desiderio Restu came free, but Paulo Txatxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Txatxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernabe Oto in the 87th minute of the match. The supporters of PINGO PINGO booed when Q. T. I. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erubiel Stephen didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Felipe Vimaro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bernabe Oto in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Paulo Txatxu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Q. T. I.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
