With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ramiro Erasto prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Ramiro Erasto managed to avoid a goal in the 38thth minute, when Plebeyos's Primitivo Eguen fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Through an outstanding action, after 39 minutes, Ramiro Erasto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Rogelio Guerau succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 5-0 in the 42nd playminute. Ramiro Erasto didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 45th minute, which inside left pole to 6-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Primitivo Eguen to make the kick off. The supporters of Plebeyos booed when Los Muchachos del 86 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ricardo Ordono didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Los Muchachos del 86 defense, Rogelio Guerau kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ramiro Erasto. The Los Muchachos del 86 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ramiro Erasto should have stopped the shot. 8-0 became the score in the 76th minute when Primitivo Eguen elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Hermengildo Suero fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Plebeyos's protests and gave Hermengildo Suero a yellow card for diving instead. 83 minutes into the match, Los Muchachos del 86's goal looked a bit too open when Luis María Rodriguez came free, but Ramiro Erasto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 played minutes Los Muchachos del 86 got a freekick which was hit by Justo Licerio. Los Muchachos del 86 were furious when Ricardo Ordono was red carded, 87 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 86th minute, one of Los Muchachos del 86:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Los Muchachos del 86. In the 88th minute there was a penalty for Plebeyos. Valentin Abalos stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ramiro Erasto. 9-0. In the 95th minute, Primitivo Eguen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ramiro Erasto was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Plebeyos had won after a very even match.
