In the 15th minute Rogelio Guerau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Romeri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 89thth minute of the game Primitivo Eguen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bahía é Carnaval's Sergio Romeri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 94 played minutes Bahía é Carnaval got a freekick which was hit by Diego Hernandez. Godfredo Omero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Romeri having to interfere. When the match was over Plebeyos could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bahía é Carnaval throughout the match.
