After a rather tough play, Putin Club - OFF's Steffen Hemelaers got a free kick in the 27th minute. 29 minutes into the game, Salvador Benitez recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Severo Roderigo. Salvador Benitez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 31 played minutes Defensores de Mar de Ajó got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Senon. 34 minutes into the match, Defensores de Mar de Ajó's goal looked a bit too open when Steffen Hemelaers came free, but Benedicto Iago reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dante Txeru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Federico Lon's late challenge caught a Putin Club - OFF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Federico Lon helped the player get up and apologised. Godfredo Senon hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltasar Perutxo in the 40th minute of play forced Defensores de Mar de Ajó's goalkeeper Benedicto Iago to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Defensores de Mar de Ajó's goalkeeper Benedicto Iago, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dante Txeru made a kick off. In the 67th minute Steffen Hemelaers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Iago saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Benedicto Iago made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steffen Hemelaers in the 69th minute of play. In the 71st minute Putin Club - OFF were awarded a corner. Baltasar Perutxo went to the cornerflag to take it. When Steffen Hemelaers came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Putin Club - OFF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steffen Hemelaers couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the Defensores de Mar de Ajó players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
