When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Bartolo Oto took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Diego Melendez to make any attempt to save it. 8 minutes into the game, Guansa's Bartolo Oto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diego Melendez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Diego Melendez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Guansa booed when Santos de Buenos Aires FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bonifacio Vitin didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Bartolo Oto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 18th minute Braulio Vachon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Melendez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 19th minute, Eugenio Beturian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 22 minutes of play, Guansa's Christian Inocente made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diego Melendez was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diego Melendez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Erubiel Lopes went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Eugenio Beturian got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 31st minute Bartolo Oto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diego Melendez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diego Melendez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bonifacio Uzuri went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bonifacio Uzuri during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Bonifacio Uzuri hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 6-0 at half-time.

Diego Melendez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christian Inocente, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Diego Melendez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolo Oto in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Christian Inocente made a precise shot to the right of Diego Melendez. Santos de Buenos Aires FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. After 56 minutes of play Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Eugenio Beturian was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Eugenio Beturian hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The supporters of Santos de Buenos Aires FC booed when Guansa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hilario Leobardo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the game, Guansa's Christian Inocente nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Santos de Buenos Aires FC's Diego Melendez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bonifacio Uzuri in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Christian Inocente in the 75th minute of play forced Santos de Buenos Aires FC's goalkeeper Diego Melendez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Bartolo Oto put it in 9-0 from a short distance just to the right of Diego Melendez. In the 81st match minute, Santos de Buenos Aires FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodrigo Calvet to maneuver through the defense. Edgard Bazkoare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lázaro Suárez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Timoteo Obano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Guansa getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Alvaro Gabino hit a great ball. Guansa walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
