Matias Godoy hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Cristian Sancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Norberto Erramu in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th match minute, Barsa FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matias Godoy to maneuver through the defense. Jorge Nesor took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 16th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cristian Sancho. Barsa FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Barsa FC's Cristian Sancho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Bermund in the 17th minute of play. Yala's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Jorge Nesor in the 19th minute. Yassine Bounou made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Işıkalp Zaik sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Işıkalp Zaik to strike the kick off in the second half. Aldo Asier kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Yala defense, Cristo Berasko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Yassine Bounou. The Yala fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Yassine Bounou should have stopped the shot. In the 66thth minute of the game Işıkalp Zaik who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Yala's Yassine Bounou was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Yala booed when Barsa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Róbert Baggio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cristian Sancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Nesor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute, Jorge Nesor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Yala fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Niki Bundev sped through Barsa FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Cristian Sancho. Moises Bermund hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Işıkalp Zaik struck a weak shot in the 95th minute. Yassine Bounou didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barsa FC. Yala's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
