In the 11th minute Santo Romano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dionisio Matia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tello AFC's Dionisio Matia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Tello AFC from getting a goal against them. Nery Pumpido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Colas in the 19th minute of play. Dionisio Matia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rico Marica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 79 minutes into the game, Rico Marica cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0.
