Froilan Llorian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Elivareo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Almeyra F.C. booed when chacarita juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Primitivo Claus didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37th match minute, chacarita juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonas Elivareo to maneuver through the defense. 38 minutes into the game, Vicente Eutor was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. chacarita juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Almeyra F.C. the free kick. A collision led to chacarita juniors getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Vicente Eutor hit a great ball. Claudio Nataniel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Primitivo Claus in the 41st minute of play forced Almeyra F.C.'s goalkeeper Froilan Llorian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jimeno Aimar got free with Froilan Llorian in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
