After 34 played minutes Tacheros OFF got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Jurdan. Jimeno Aimar scored 0-5 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rigoberto Eyague, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 44th minute Primitivo Claus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Eyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tacheros OFF's Rigoberto Eyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jimeno Aimar in the 46th minute of play. In the 46th minute, Orlando Joey hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Primitivo Claus was the one to do the kick off. Jimeno Aimar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rigoberto Eyague having to make a save. The tension between the Tacheros OFF and the chacarita juniors players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 69 played minutes Tacheros OFF got a freekick which was hit by Desiderio Txomin. chacarita juniors's Primitivo Claus got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jimeno Aimar got free with Rigoberto Eyague in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 0-8 became the score in the 73rd minute when Jimeno Aimar elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Primitivo Claus in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rigoberto Eyague prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 77th minute Primitivo Claus shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Eyague saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
