In the 13th minute, Hugo Lucero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute Osvaldo Goren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Froilan Llorian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Froilan Llorian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Goren in the 23rd minute of the match. Osvaldo Goren struck a weak shot in the 24th minute. Froilan Llorian didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Menchu FC. Vicente Noe kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. When Osvaldo Goren fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Menchu FC's protests and gave Osvaldo Goren a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute, Osvaldo Goren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Froilan Llorian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Goren in the 34th minute of the match. Osvaldo Goren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 40th minute, Osvaldo Goren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Froilan Llorian was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 44 minutes into the match, Almeyra F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Goren came free, but Froilan Llorian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Menchu FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Leandro Gonzalez Pirez in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Osvaldo Goren to make the kick off. After 50 played minutes Almeyra F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Victorio Ulizes. Froilan Llorian made an important save on a dangerous shot by Osvaldo Goren in the 51st minute. Omar Abecia hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 54th minute, Leandro Gonzalez Pirez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Osvaldo Goren got free with Froilan Llorian in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Victorio Ulizes kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Menchu FC's Osvaldo Goren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. The supporters of Almeyra F.C. booed when Menchu FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Noe didn't get a good kick on the ball. Menchu FC's Delmiro Porfirio was substituted for Nelson Cuevas. A collision led to Menchu FC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Vicente Noe hit a great ball. Angel Comizzo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anier Ortzi in the 71st minute of the match. Froilan Llorian made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Felipe Quentin sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Almeyra F.C.'s Froilan Llorian got control of the ball when Felipe Quentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Marcelo Gallardo notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of Almeyra F.C.'s Froilan Llorian. Froilan Llorian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Froilan Llorian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Gallardo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th match minute, Menchu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vicente Noe to maneuver through the defense. Froilan Llorian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Menchu FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Menchu FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
