After 45 played minutes Menchu FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Gallardo. Angel Comizzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Colas in the 46th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Emilio Colas made the kick off in the second half. Osvaldo Goren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 54 minutes into the match, Tello AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldo Goren came free, but Dionisio Matia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Menchu FC booed when Tello AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Vermudo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Justino Kismi in the 59thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Osvaldo Goren hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goalkeeper Angel Comizzo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Silvestre Vermudo. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Osvaldo Goren in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dionisio Matia saved Tello AFC from getting behind. Angel Comizzo made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Silvestre Vermudo sent off a good shot on target. In the 81st minute, Pascual Gonsalvo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Menchu FC's Nelson Cuevas was substituted for Vicente Noe. Angel Comizzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emilio Colas in the 84th minute of play. After having played for 87 minutes, Osvaldo Goren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Menchu FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Tello AFC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
