In the 6th minute of the match Menchu FC got a corner. Tacheros OFF's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leandro Gonzalez Pirez ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Menchu FC's corner Leandro Gonzalez Pirez fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Pastor Manex quite easily take care of the ball. Pastor Manex made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Osvaldo Goren in the 7th minute of play. Ambrosio Fidensio came free with the goalkeeper in the 9th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Angel Comizzo could save by the left post. Marcelo Gallardo kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Menchu FC's Lennart Torstensson got a free kick in the 17th minute. Camilo Ranolfo, 18 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Osvaldo Goren struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Pastor Manex didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Menchu FC. Pastor Manex showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Osvaldo Goren, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. If Osvaldo Goren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pastor Manex showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Osvaldo Goren in the 30th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Osvaldo Goren in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Pastor Manex prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pastor Manex showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eulalio Fidensio in the 37th minute of the match. The Menchu FC fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Menchu FC's Osvaldo Goren looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Menchu FC's Marcelo Gallardo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Samuel Raphael, made in the 45th minute of the game.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ambrosio Fidensio to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Tacheros OFF got a freekick which was hit by Venancio Frans. In the 52nd minute of the match Leandro Gonzalez Pirez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Pastor Manex showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Osvaldo Goren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The audience was convinced that Osvaldo Goren's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pastor Manex was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. Osvaldo Goren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Osvaldo Goren who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Pastor Manex when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Tacheros OFF's Pastor Manex played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Goren in the 61st minute of play. In the 65th match minute, Menchu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lennart Torstensson to maneuver through the defense. Menchu FC's Nelson Cuevas was substituted for Vicente Noe. Lennart Torstensson hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 70 minutes into the game, Luisito Jurdan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tacheros OFF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Menchu FC the free kick. Luisito Jurdan kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. After 71st play minutes Osvaldo Goren shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Pastor Manex and just under the crossbar into goal. With a little luck, Tacheros OFF's Pastor Manex got control of the ball when Osvaldo Goren tried to sneak it across the goal line. 77 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's Osvaldo Goren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pastor Manex narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 78 minutes into the game, Orlando Joey was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tacheros OFF's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Menchu FC the free kick. Orlando Joey hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute, Menchu FC's Osvaldo Goren dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. After a rather tough play, Menchu FC's Nelson Cuevas got a free kick in the 87th minute. Menchu FC made a substitution. Felipe Quentin replaced Osvaldo Goren. In the 88th match minute, Menchu FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelson Cuevas to maneuver through the defense. Tacheros OFF's Pastor Manex played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Quentin in the 91st minute of play. Pastor Manex made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felipe Quentin in the 94th minute of play. Menchu FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
