El Fortín de Floresta's Carolo Naelio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ademar Castro in the 17th minute of play. Enzo Silviano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Leobardo in the 20th minute of play. Jairo Ioritz was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. In the 23rd match minute, La Candela FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Clemente Rodriguez to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute of the match Teofilo Rojelio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Enzo Silviano skillfully saved the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benigno Ricart to strike the kick off in the second half. After 51 minutes of play, La Candela FC's Benigno Ricart made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carolo Naelio was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the El Fortín de Floresta defense, Ademar Castro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Carolo Naelio. The El Fortín de Floresta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carolo Naelio should have stopped the shot. La Candela FC's Alfredo Rojas was substituted for Benigno Ricart. In the 59th minute Ademar Castro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carolo Naelio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
