The corner ended in Vicente Gerazan almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Simbo FC's Octavio Lauaxeta did a great save. La Candela FC's Benigno Guillem proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save La Candela FC from getting a goal against them. Benigno Guillem made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauricio Jurdan in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amadeo Su in the 16th minute of play forced Simbo FC's goalkeeper Octavio Lauaxeta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mauricio Jurdan got free with Benigno Guillem in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benigno Guillem made an important save on a dangerous shot by Mauricio Jurdan in the 34th minute. Mauricio Jurdan scored 1-0 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benigno Guillem, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mauricio Jurdan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Benigno Guillem made a huge save. Alberto Pitin hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victoriano Sazon was the one to do the kick off. When Simbo FC's Victoriano Banegas in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Candela FC's goalie prevented a goal. After 66 played minutes Simbo FC got a freekick which was hit by Flor Petera. La Candela FC made a substitution. Baldomiro Gonzalez replaced Victoriano Sazon. The supporters of La Candela FC booed when Simbo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flor Petera didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benigno Guillem took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauricio Jurdan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 77 minutes into the game, Mauricio Jurdan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Simbo FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Candela FC the free kick. In the 77th match minute, Simbo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mauricio Jurdan to maneuver through the defense. In the 80th minute, Segundo Neron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Amadeo Su kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Simbo FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Berto came free, but Octavio Lauaxeta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Simbo FC's Lis Tagliani got a free kick in the 94th minute. When the referee ended the match the Simbo FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
