In the 7th match minute, Simbo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lis Tagliani to maneuver through the defense. Octavio Lauaxeta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brennan Johnson in the 10th minute of the match. 12 minutes into the match, DESTROY's Robert Söderlund sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Octavio Lauaxeta narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Laurids Baylund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Jurdan in the 15th minute of play. In the 18th minute Brennan Johnson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Lauaxeta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 20th match minute, DESTROY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolaas Tagliafico to maneuver through the defense. Laurids Baylund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Banegas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Octavio Lauaxeta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brennan Johnson, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Robert Söderlund hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Laurids Baylund made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mauricio Jurdan in the 32nd minute of play. After 37 played minutes Simbo FC got a freekick which was hit by Alan Schenker. In the 41st minute Armando Maradona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavio Lauaxeta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, DESTROY's goal looked a bit too open when Victoriano Banegas came free, but Laurids Baylund reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, DESTROY's Brennan Johnson got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Armando Maradona was the one to do the kick off. Octavio Lauaxeta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Brennan Johnson went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Laurids Baylund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Banegas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. DESTROY's Per-Erik Vesterberg was substituted for Armando Maradona. Alberto Pitin's late challenge caught a DESTROY's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Pitin helped the player get up and apologised. In the 60th match minute, Simbo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Pitin to maneuver through the defense. Octavio Lauaxeta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Borre in the 61st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santos Borre in the 64th minute of play forced Simbo FC's goalkeeper Octavio Lauaxeta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Feliberto Mouricio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santos Borre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Octavio Lauaxeta having to make a save. The supporters of Simbo FC booed when DESTROY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saturnino Favila didn't get a good kick on the ball. Octavio Lauaxeta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Söderlund, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 85thth minute of the game Per-Erik Vesterberg who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Simbo FC's Octavio Lauaxeta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 87th minute, Per-Erik Vesterberg made a precise shot to the right of Octavio Lauaxeta. Simbo FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After 93 played minutes, Simbo FC's Feliberto Mouricio shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Laurids Baylund came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Simbo FC reached it. Santos Borre might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Octavio Lauaxeta. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santos Borre ran back to his position shaking his head. For all the effort they put into the match, the Simbo FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for DESTROY.
