The referee ignored Mi querida Fabiola's protests and gave Flavio Vigil a yellow card for diving instead. After a defensive mix-up in Mi querida Fabiola's zone, Guido Bautista stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabio Filipo came out of the goal and Guido Bautista tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Guido Bautista sped through Mi querida Fabiola's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Fabio Filipo. Guido Bautista blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabio Filipo having to make a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Guido Bautista got free with Fabio Filipo in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Club Almirante Brown's Guido Bautista was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 27th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. The supporters of Club Almirante Brown booed when Mi querida Fabiola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atilano Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Guido Bautista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Club Almirante Brown's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guido Bautista was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Mi querida Fabiola's Flavio Vigil got a free kick in the 69th minute. Fabio Filipo came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Club Almirante Brown's Guido Bautista. But to his dismay, Guido Bautista quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. The Club Almirante Brown fans' excitement grew in the 74th match minute when Club Almirante Brown's Guido Bautista looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 7-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Guido Bautista managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Almirante Brown's supporters rose to their feet, but Guido Bautista was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Filipo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 90th minute, Aristides Rayman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fabio Filipo was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-0. Fabio Filipo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guido Bautista, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Club Almirante Brown walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
