Spectators: 38 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Riesgo Cero's Diego Lia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Raimundo Innocenzio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diego Lia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 11 minutes into the game, Leandro Iratxo recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Benicio Arias. Leandro Iratxo showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. A collision led to Riesgo Cero getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Clodoveo Pacho hit a great ball. The supporters of Talleres de Escalada booed when Riesgo Cero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alejandro Micael didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, Riesgo Cero's Benicio Arias got control of the ball when Leandro Iratxo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Riesgo Cero's Benicio Arias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Candido Savier in the 29th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Talleres de Escalada's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Rolado came free, but Angelo Sugoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Anselmo Afonso hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute, Anselmo Nerio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Sugoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Riesgo Cero's Diego Lia got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Paulino Fernendo made a kick off. When Andres Jusepe came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Talleres de Escalada fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andres Jusepe couldn't finish the play. If Andres Jusepe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Raimundo Innocenzio fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Talleres de Escalada's protests and gave Raimundo Innocenzio a yellow card for diving instead. After 67 played minutes Talleres de Escalada got a freekick which was hit by Raimundo Innocenzio. When Prudencio Rolado fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Riesgo Cero's protests and gave Prudencio Rolado a yellow card for diving instead. Anselmo Nerio was slow to take the kick. During this time Riesgo Cero's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Riesgo Cero's Diego Lia to fire away a dangerous shot which Angelo Sugoi despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Claudio Egoi's late challenge caught a Talleres de Escalada's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudio Egoi helped the player get up and apologised. Claudio Egoi hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. After 89 played minutes, Talleres de Escalada's Osvaldo Paublo shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Benicio Arias came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Talleres de Escalada reached it. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Talleres de Escalada lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
