In the 6th minute Adrian Martinez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Daunte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eleuterio Daunte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Loyarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute of the game Abel Hibai made a throw-in which Wilfredo Orlondo played forward. In the 19th match minute, Defensores del Albinegro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arnaldo Justin to maneuver through the defense. C.del.U FC's Eleuterio Daunte played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Loyarte in the 26th minute of play. Defensores del Albinegro were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after C.del.U FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Arnaldo Justin took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Loyarte in the 31st minute of play forced C.del.U FC's goalkeeper Eleuterio Daunte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilfredo Orlondo made in the 33rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by C.del.U FC's Simon Fiz. Dimitar Ivankov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ceferino Mel's shot from short distance in the 34th minute. After 35 minutes Defensores del Albinegro's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Simon Fiz who took care of the corner kick. After some careless play in the Defensores del Albinegro defense, Ceferino Mel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dimitar Ivankov. The Defensores del Albinegro fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dimitar Ivankov should have stopped the shot. The supporters of C.del.U FC booed when Defensores del Albinegro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arnaldo Justin didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Ubaldo Rio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 45th minute Gabriel Loyarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Daunte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eleuterio Daunte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gabriel Loyarte went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

51 minutes into the match, Defensores del Albinegro's goalkeeper Dimitar Ivankov had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ceferino Mel. Dimitar Ivankov was a little too slow when Ceferino Mel got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 1-2. A collision led to C.del.U FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Matias Leheren hit a great ball. In the 58th minute Ciriaco Mannuel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eleuterio Daunte saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gabriel Loyarte recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Leo Horado fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored C.del.U FC's protests and gave Leo Horado a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to C.del.U FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Leo Horado hit a great ball. After having played for 67 minutes, Arnaldo Justin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Defensores del Albinegro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arnaldo Justin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Defensores del Albinegro's Gabriel Loyarte in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye C.del.U FC's goalie prevented a goal. Dimitar Ivankov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Feliu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ceferino Mel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dimitar Ivankov having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ubaldo Rio in the 77th minute of play forced C.del.U FC's goalkeeper Eleuterio Daunte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ubaldo Rio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eleuterio Daunte having to interfere. After 82 minutes, Guido Feliu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the C.del.U FC and the Defensores del Albinegro players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to C.del.U FC getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. German Chaime hit a great ball. C.del.U FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Defensores del Albinegro's much stronger midfield.
