Iker Dolfos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benicio Arias having to interfere. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Diego Lia to strike the kick off in the second half. A collision led to C. A. Atlanta getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Cleto Ferran hit a great ball. Arnoldo Kismi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diego Lia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 59 played minutes Riesgo Cero got a freekick which was hit by Diego Lia. Iker Dolfos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Benicio Arias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnoldo Kismi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Lia in the 84th minute of play. Alejandro Micael scored 2-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnoldo Kismi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 95th minute, Diego Lia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Riesgo Cero fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. C. A. Atlanta's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Riesgo Cero had won, even though C. A. Atlanta had held more of the ball.
