Arnoldo Kismi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Justin in the 25th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aquiles Orzaize during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th minute, Aquiles Orzaize hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 34 minutes into the game, Abel Hibai was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Defensores del Albinegro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave C. A. Atlanta the free kick. A collision led to Defensores del Albinegro getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Abel Hibai hit a great ball. In the 36th minute, Cleto Ferran had to leave the field with a concussion. Abel Hibai got his second yellow card in the match during the 37th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. 36 minutes into the game, one of Defensores del Albinegro:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gabriel Loyarte to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in C. A. Atlanta's zone, Gabriel Loyarte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnoldo Kismi came out of the goal and Gabriel Loyarte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dimitar Ivankov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mario Padro, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 59th minute of the game. One of Defensores del Albinegro:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C. A. Atlanta:s goal. Arnaldo Justin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute, Nicasio Primeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnaldo Justin blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Arnoldo Kismi having to make a save. Mario Padro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Ciriaco Mannuel took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Arnoldo Kismi to make any attempt to save it. Arnoldo Kismi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciriaco Mannuel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jonathan Eli hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Jonathan Eli's late challenge caught a Defensores del Albinegro's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jonathan Eli helped the player get up and apologised. After 89 played minutes C. A. Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Eli. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Padro in the 95th minute of play forced Defensores del Albinegro's goalkeeper Dimitar Ivankov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 95th minute, Arnaldo Justin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
