Lucjan Markowski started the match with the kick off. Edmund Wielkopolski was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Lucjan Mostowiak capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lucjan Mostowiak really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. In the 8th match minute, MKS Legion Częstochowa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaw Frodyma to maneuver through the defense. In the 9th minute, Radoslaw Walentowicz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The BESTIA GDAŃSK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Edmund Wielkopolski made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Roman Dejo sent off a good shot on target. BESTIA GDAŃSK's Igor Skrzypiec played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emil Kalinowski in the 17th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, BESTIA GDAŃSK's goal looked a bit too open when Toni Polster came free, but Igor Skrzypiec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, MKS Legion Częstochowa's Edmund Wielkopolski got control of the ball when Lucjan Markowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. Roman Dejo kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Edmund Wielkopolski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radoslaw Walentowicz in the 38th minute. After a rather tough play, MKS Legion Częstochowa's Gustaw Frodyma got a free kick in the 40th minute. Radoslaw Walentowicz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Edmund Wielkopolski made a huge save. 45 minutes into the match, MKS Legion Częstochowa's goal looked a bit too open when Lucjan Mostowiak came free, but Edmund Wielkopolski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to BESTIA GDAŃSK getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Miroslaw Zagrobelny hit a great ball. Tytus Ogrodowicz kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Norbert Bambas made a kick off. MKS Legion Częstochowa's Norbert Bambas got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. BESTIA GDAŃSK's Igor Skrzypiec proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save BESTIA GDAŃSK from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, BESTIA GDAŃSK's Igor Skrzypiec got control of the ball when Toni Polster tried to sneak it across the goal line. MKS Legion Częstochowa's Edmund Wielkopolski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Miroslaw Zagrobelny in the 61st minute of play. Edmund Wielkopolski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Dejo, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Grzegorz Giertych's late challenge caught a BESTIA GDAŃSK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Grzegorz Giertych helped the player get up and apologised. If Lucjan Mostowiak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Igor Skrzypiec didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Toni Polster went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 83rd minute, Jedrzej Buczko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 84 played minutes, BESTIA GDAŃSK's Juliusz Ferfecki shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Edmund Wielkopolski came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in BESTIA GDAŃSK reached it. After 93 played minutes BESTIA GDAŃSK got a freekick which was hit by Lucjan Markowski. The supporters of MKS Legion Częstochowa booed when BESTIA GDAŃSK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucjan Mostowiak didn't get a good kick on the ball.
