The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Witold Pryla in the 4th minute of play forced KS LEW Chorzów's goalkeeper Wit Kasperowicz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 7 minutes into the game, Guy Grimault was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nightmare's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KS LEW Chorzów the free kick. After a rather tough play, Nightmare's Guy Grimault got a free kick in the 7th minute. Edmund Lenertej showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wieslaw Maziarski in the 11th minute of the match. Witold Pryla took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wit Kasperowicz. Wit Kasperowicz dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, KS LEW Chorzów's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Benitez came free, but Wit Kasperowicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Norbert Pruss was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Nightmare's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KS LEW Chorzów the free kick. A collision led to Nightmare getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Norbert Pruss hit a great ball. Wlodzimierz Zbikowski got a throw-in 24 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Mikolaj Juszkowski. In the 33rd minute of the match, Marco Benitez tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Wit Kasperowicz saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. KS LEW Chorzów's Wit Kasperowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Witold Pryla in the 38th minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Guy Grimault in the 40th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by KS LEW Chorzów's Gerhard Vejs. 42 minutes into the match, Nightmare's goal looked a bit too open when Wieslaw Maziarski came free, but Edmund Lenertej reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmund Lenertej made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mikolaj Budzynski in the 44th minute of play. Nightmare were awarded a corner in the 48th minute after KS LEW Chorzów's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tang Han took the corner. Ronaldo 吴鹏 made a great header on Nightmare's corner, it was just that KS LEW Chorzów's Wit Kasperowicz managed to reach the ball for a save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Mikolaj Budzynski made the kick off in the second half. Mikolaj Budzynski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Edmund Lenertej having to make a save. Ronaldo 吴鹏 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as KS LEW Chorzów's Mikolaj Budzynski slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edmund Lenertej. That made the score 1-2 after 69 minutes of play. Nightmare's Edmund Lenertej proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Nightmare from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Nightmare booed when KS LEW Chorzów was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wlodzimierz Zbikowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nightmare's Wiktor Fink was substituted for Guy Grimault. A collision led to KS LEW Chorzów getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Wlodzimierz Zbikowski hit a great ball. Edmund Lenertej made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Zachariasz Niedbalski sent off a good shot on target. KS LEW Chorzów's Wit Kasperowicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aaron Chevalier in the 89th minute of play. Wit Kasperowicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wiktor Fink in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 93rd minute Ademir de Sena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wit Kasperowicz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KS LEW Chorzów were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Nightmare's much stronger midfield.
