Adriano Figueiredo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Wallach in the 7th minute of play. After 11 played minutes TS Wisła Kraków got a freekick which was hit by Ignacy Zworski. 13 minutes into the match, KSF Racovia Częstochowa's goal looked a bit too open when Witalis Gargasz came free, but Leszek Grocholski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, TS Wisła Kraków's Adriano Figueiredo got control of the ball when Kacper Skaradowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 19th minute, Damrong Pinta made a precise shot to the right of Leszek Grocholski. KSF Racovia Częstochowa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Adriano Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Wallach, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 played minutes TS Wisła Kraków got a freekick which was hit by Gustaw Golec. In the 24th minute of the match Franciszek Gejda shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adriano Figueiredo showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some careless play in the TS Wisła Kraków defense, Aleksander Walentowicz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Adriano Figueiredo. The TS Wisła Kraków fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Adriano Figueiredo should have stopped the shot. Kacper Skaradowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adriano Figueiredo having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Robert Wallach got free with Adriano Figueiredo in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sylwester Kaczeniak to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sylwester Kaczeniak in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adriano Figueiredo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Roch Domarecki charged in rather forcefully in the 53rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Roch Domarecki the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of KSF Racovia Częstochowa booed when TS Wisła Kraków was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Walery Gamza didn't get a good kick on the ball. TS Wisła Kraków were furious when Edmund Raflewski was red carded, 61 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. TS Wisła Kraków's Adriano Figueiredo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Wallach in the 76th minute of play. After 78 minutes, Edgar Nikodemski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KSF Racovia Częstochowa and the TS Wisła Kraków players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 78th match minute, KSF Racovia Częstochowa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Nikodemski to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, Edgars Kusners had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leszek Grocholski. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barnaba Osikowicz in the 92nd minute of play forced KSF Racovia Częstochowa's goalkeeper Leszek Grocholski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute of the match, Edgars Kusners tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Leszek Grocholski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
