Powiśle Warszawa's supporters rose to their feet, but Tadeusz Pionek was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kryspin Lichorobiec breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Piotr Majewski hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After 17 minutes of play, Powiśle Warszawa's Tadeusz Pionek made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kryspin Lichorobiec was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Witold Fiszer in the 21st minute of play forced KS Powstańcy's goalkeeper Kryspin Lichorobiec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 22 minutes into the match, KS Powstańcy's goal looked a bit too open when Witold Fiszer came free, but Kryspin Lichorobiec reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the game, Witold Fiszer cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Kryspin Lichorobiec was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Witold Fiszer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Kryspin Lichorobiec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Witold Fiszer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 34 minutes, Bartlomiej Zacharczyk mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KS Powstańcy and the Powiśle Warszawa players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to KS Powstańcy getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Bartlomiej Zacharczyk hit a great ball. Kryspin Lichorobiec showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Piotr Majewski in the 37th minute of the match. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Kryspin Lichorobiec stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tadeusz Pionek's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. 51 minutes into the game, Edward Roman was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. KS Powstańcy's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Powiśle Warszawa the free kick. The supporters of Powiśle Warszawa booed when KS Powstańcy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Roman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 55th match minute, Powiśle Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogdan Nalaskowski to maneuver through the defense. Bogdan Zatorski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mariusz Gniech's shot from short distance in the 56th minute. Powiśle Warszawa's Witold Fiszer got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Krzysztof Arnista hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. The long shot by Radowit Smolarek in the 72nd minute really tested Kryspin Lichorobiec's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Piotr Majewski was shown his second yellow card after 82 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Piotr Majewski hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Witold Fiszer could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Kryspin Lichorobiec made a huge save. Kryspin Lichorobiec made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Witold Fiszer sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Powiśle Warszawa eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
