Kernsdorf SSA's Vjeran Tomić played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liu Zhi Guang in the 18th minute of play. 22 minutes into the match, Kernsdorf SSA's goal looked a bit too open when Gwidon Patora came free, but Vjeran Tomić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Andrea Casals had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Though ot was a great shot Veth Crystals's keeper Tiburcio Jakue was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. Primitivo Orozco hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. 37 minutes into the game, Veth Crystals's Gwidon Patora nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vjeran Tomić made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Vjeran Tomić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liu Zhi Guang in the 41st minute of play. In the 42nd minute of the match Veth Crystals got a corner. Kernsdorf SSA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gwidon Patora ran over to the corner to take the kick. Veth Crystals's Gwidon Patora was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Vjeran Tomić in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in.
