Erhard Dalsmark started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Hoberg United's Cristoffer Lindtoft got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 6 minutes into the match, Skellerup FC's goal looked a bit too open when Samuel Grabow came free, but Vagnar Roebel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hoberg United's Ernst Aarsing proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to save Hoberg United from getting a goal against them. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by Hoberg United's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Harry Bergø was slow to take the kick. During this time Skellerup FC's players had a chance to rest. When Erhard Dalsmark came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Hoberg United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erhard Dalsmark couldn't finish the play. Walter Fur hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Walter Fur was shown his second yellow card after 18 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. Erhard Dalsmark blasted a shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vagnar Roebel having to make a save. In the 27th minute Cristoffer Lindtoft shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vagnar Roebel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jørgen Ebler during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuel Grabow in the 32nd minute of play forced Skellerup FC's goalkeeper Vagnar Roebel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th match minute, Hoberg United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Blenø to maneuver through the defense. Rolf Bersner helped the player get up and apologised. Vagnar Roebel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristoffer Lindtoft, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristoffer Lindtoft struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Vagnar Roebel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hoberg United. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gorm Adsersen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Calle Vidø during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 54 played minutes Hoberg United got a freekick which was hit by Calle Vidø. 57 minutes into the match, Skellerup FC's goalkeeper Vagnar Roebel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Oluf Stensvang. Erhard Dalsmark blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vagnar Roebel having to make a save. Vagnar Roebel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erhard Dalsmark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the game, Oluf Stensvang was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hoberg United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Skellerup FC the free kick. Oluf Stensvang kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. After 70 minutes of play, Hoberg United's Samuel Grabow made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vagnar Roebel was left in no man's land by his defense there! With an all-out effort, Hoberg United's Vagnar Roebel threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Erhard Dalsmark, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. A collision led to Skellerup FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Rolf Bersner hit a great ball. Hoberg United's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
