Monks in Robes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Harold Truesen in the 4th minute. Harold Truesen made a great header on Monks in Robes's corner, it was just that Holmkjar Hotspurs's Egil Sølve managed to reach the ball for a save. Egil Sølve was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 7th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Harold Truesen. Owe Lehnskov kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. The supporters of Holmkjar Hotspurs booed when Monks in Robes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rikki Oemann didn't get a good kick on the ball. Egil Sølve made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Mouritz Søjbjerg sent off a good shot on target. 28 minutes into the match, Holmkjar Hotspurs's goalkeeper Egil Sølve had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mouritz Søjbjerg. Tonni Dong hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. After 36 minutes Holmkjar Hotspurs's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Harold Truesen who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tonni Dong in the 38th minute of play forced Monks in Robes's goalkeeper Maurits Vesterherup to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Mouritz Søjbjerg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tonni Dong made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Mouritz Søjbjerg made a precise shot to the right of Egil Sølve. Holmkjar Hotspurs's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. After having played for 54 minutes, Leif Sjørlund managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monks in Robes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leif Sjørlund was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Micael Byvold was substituted for Holger Korst. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Reinhardt Vittenbach was substituted for Samuel Berghagen. Egil Sølve showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rasmus Hindby, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After a rather tough play, Monks in Robes's Owe Lehnskov got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute Rasmus Hindby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Egil Sølve saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Holmkjar Hotspurs's Kalle Bjarkmann ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Maurits Vesterherup. Maurits Vesterherup yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. In the 93rd minute, Owe Lehnskov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Monks in Robes getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Mouritz Søjbjerg hit a great ball. Monks in Robes were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Holmkjar Hotspurs for a fine match.
