Tonni Dong's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yoto Boshikyov read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Yoto Boshikyov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tonni Dong, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Renegades's Yoto Boshikyov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vagner Vennitze in the 8th minute of play. In the 12th minute Tonni Dong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yoto Boshikyov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tonni Dong in the 15th minute of play forced Renegades's goalkeeper Yoto Boshikyov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Renegades's Yoto Boshikyov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oluf Ankerbøl in the 18th minute of play. Vagner Vennitze scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Yoto Boshikyov, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oluf Ankerbøl in the 24th minute of play forced Renegades's goalkeeper Yoto Boshikyov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Renegades's goal looked a bit too open when Oluf Ankerbøl came free, but Yoto Boshikyov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 25 played minutes, Holmkjar Hotspurs's Loui Bargmann shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Yoto Boshikyov came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tonni Dong made a kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Reagan von Buol-Schaudenstein was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Renegades's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Holmkjar Hotspurs the free kick. 56 minutes into the game, one of Renegades:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 60th minute, Kasper Fesman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 63rd minute Tonni Dong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yoto Boshikyov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Renegades getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Ricky Bilgram hit a great ball. Oluf Ankerbøl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yoto Boshikyov having to interfere. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Reinhardt Vittenbach was substituted for Samuel Berghagen. Holmkjar Hotspurs's Kalle Bjarkmann was substituted for Oluf Ankerbøl. 69 minutes into the match, Renegades's goal looked a bit too open when Tonni Dong came free, but Yoto Boshikyov reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Reinhardt Vittenbach got free with Yoto Boshikyov in the 70th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Yoto Boshikyov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tonni Dong in the 73rd minute of play. After 74 minutes, Rainer Akgaard mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Renegades and the Holmkjar Hotspurs players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 74th minute, Rainer Akgaard hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Renegades's Yoto Boshikyov got control of the ball when Kalle Bjarkmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. Yoto Boshikyov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kalle Bjarkmann in the 78th minute. Yoto Boshikyov stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tonni Dong's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. In the 93rd match minute, Renegades was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corneliu Gâdea to maneuver through the defense. Yoto Boshikyov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tonni Dong, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. Holmkjar Hotspurs played a much better game than Renegades and deserved their victory. The Renegades players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
