Gražvydas Andrikaitis came out and tried to block the shot, but Clyde Schembri Zerafa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lawrence De Marco in the 12th minute of play forced FC Alytus United's goalkeeper Gražvydas Andrikaitis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gražvydas Andrikaitis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clyde Schembri Zerafa in the 13th minute of the match. After having played for 14 minutes, Clyde Schembri Zerafa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Attard Gunners's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clyde Schembri Zerafa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Žygimantas Karanauskas fell near the penalty area in the 17th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Alytus United's protests and gave Žygimantas Karanauskas a yellow card for diving instead. Žygimantas Karanauskas hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Alytus United's zone, Thomas Zrinzo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gražvydas Andrikaitis came out of the goal and Thomas Zrinzo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amadeo Rapinett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saulius Inzaghi in the 23rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, FC Alytus United's Lauras Normantas got a free kick in the 25th minute. Amadeo Rapinett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolandas Dovydaitis in the 28th minute of play. Amadeo Rapinett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lauras Normantas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Saulius Inzaghi was the one to do the kick off. Lawrence De Marco succeeded in the game's 51st minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-0. The supporters of FC Alytus United booed when Attard Gunners was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mario Pullicino didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the FC Alytus United defense, Lawrence De Marco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gražvydas Andrikaitis. The FC Alytus United fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gražvydas Andrikaitis should have stopped the shot. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Thomas Zrinzo sped through FC Alytus United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Gražvydas Andrikaitis. Lauras Normantas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rolandas Dovydaitis was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 69 minutes into the match. After 69 played minutes FC Alytus United got a freekick which was hit by Rolandas Dovydaitis. Attard Gunners's Angelo Incorvaia got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gražvydas Andrikaitis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Incorvaia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lawrence De Marco in the 76th minute of play forced FC Alytus United's goalkeeper Gražvydas Andrikaitis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 77th minute, Robert Gera made a precise shot to the right of Gražvydas Andrikaitis. FC Alytus United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Amadeo Rapinett made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lauras Normantas in the 81st minute of play. Saulius Inzaghi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Amadeo Rapinett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Attard Gunners getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Lawrence De Marco hit a great ball. Gražvydas Andrikaitis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lawrence De Marco, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. If Angelo Incorvaia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, FC Alytus United's goal looked a bit too open when Thomas Zrinzo came free, but Gražvydas Andrikaitis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Attard Gunners were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of FC Alytus United for a fine match.
