Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Stefan Vanghele started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Dominic Orcondona came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by UFC Puturoasa's Alexei Caraman. But to his dismay, Alexei Caraman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Myroslav Zanevskyi got free with Petr Čech in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. UFC Puturoasa's Petr Čech proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save UFC Puturoasa from getting a goal against them. In the 13th minute, Philadelphia Union FC's Myroslav Zanevskyi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. 17 minutes into the match, Myroslav Zanevskyi notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of UFC Puturoasa's Petr Čech. Petr Čech was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Philadelphia Union FC booed when UFC Puturoasa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruslan Blanari didn't get a good kick on the ball. Myroslav Zanevskyi charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Myroslav Zanevskyi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. UFC Puturoasa's Cornel Vornic was substituted for Dan Burduf. In the 24th minute Alexei Caraman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominic Orcondona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Petr Čech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Myroslav Zanevskyi, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Ruslan Blanari in the 30th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Philadelphia Union FC's Gaudencio Bermudez. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Myroslav Zanevskyi in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Petr Čech saved UFC Puturoasa from getting behind. After 32 played minutes Philadelphia Union FC got a freekick which was hit by Gaudencio Bermudez. Angelo Freitas got a throw-in 34 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Myroslav Zanevskyi. After 37 minutes of play, UFC Puturoasa's Alexei Caraman made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dominic Orcondona was left in no man's land by his defense there! Myroslav Zanevskyi's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Petr Čech read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Myroslav Zanevskyi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 48th minute Stefan Vanghele shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dominic Orcondona saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Myroslav Zanevskyi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Philadelphia Union FC's Myroslav Zanevskyi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Petr Čech narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Philadelphia Union FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Gaudencio Bermudez hit a great ball. In the 59thth minute of the game Sandu Botnaru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Philadelphia Union FC's Dominic Orcondona was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Philadelphia Union FC's Denys Karmalita was substituted for Myroslav Zanevskyi. Philadelphia Union FC's Valentyn Boyaryntsev was substituted for Belmiro Paris. 65 minutes into the game, Lev Voinarovskyi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Philadelphia Union FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UFC Puturoasa the free kick. Lev Voinarovskyi hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stefan Vanghele in the 66th minute of play forced Philadelphia Union FC's goalkeeper Dominic Orcondona to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Stefan Vanghele had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dominic Orcondona showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandu Botnaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Philadelphia Union FC's goalkeeper Dominic Orcondona had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alexei Caraman. Ruslan Blanari made in the 85th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Alexei Caraman. The audience was convinced that Sandu Botnaru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dominic Orcondona was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. If Denys Karmalita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute, Denys Karmalita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Philadelphia Union FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. UFC Puturoasa's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
