Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) After some careless play in the Floriana Celtics defense, Aivis Bukevics kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ian Manchè. The Floriana Celtics fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ian Manchè should have stopped the shot. Aivis Bukevics's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ian Manchè read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Black horses's Ervīns Kiberkalns got a free kick in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute of the match Pepe Haedo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kārlis Blāķis skillfully saved the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 15 minutes, Kārlis Blāķis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Brian Urpani might have been able to make a better finish in the 20th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kārlis Blāķis. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brian Urpani ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 21st minute, John John hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Black horses were awarded a corner in the 26th minute after Floriana Celtics's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Muntis Neimanis took the corner. Muntis Neimanis made a great header on Black horses's corner, it was just that Floriana Celtics's Ian Manchè managed to reach the ball for a save. Ian Manchè made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raivo Stelbaums in the 28th minute of play. Kārlis Blāķis was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Francesco Naudi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Francesco Naudi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. 40 minutes into the game, Floriana Celtics's Austin Gatt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kārlis Blāķis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brian Urpani stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Black horses getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Aivis Bukevics hit a great ball. Alvis Bāliņš charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alvis Bāliņš the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alvis Bāliņš hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, Floriana Celtics's goalkeeper Ian Manchè had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aivis Bukevics. The audience was convinced that Aivis Bukevics's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ian Manchè was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. In the 61st minute, Steve Teuma Castelletti hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Auseklis Blitsons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Ian Manchè tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kārlis Blāķis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gregory Boffa in the 67th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aivis Bukevics in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ian Manchè saved Floriana Celtics from getting behind. Kārlis Blāķis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brian Urpani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 74 minutes into the match, Floriana Celtics's goalkeeper Ian Manchè had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aivis Bukevics. In the 74th minute, Kaspars Ragutiņš hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pepe Haedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kārlis Blāķis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 75th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Urpani in the 79th minute of play forced Black horses's goalkeeper Kārlis Blāķis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If John John had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 84 minutes, Aivis Bukevics put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ian Manchè. Ian Manchè made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Aivis Bukevics sent off a good shot on target. During the 92nd minute of the match Alvis Bāliņš completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Alvis Bāliņš a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Alvis Bāliņš kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Black horses succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Floriana Celtics had controlled the match.
