Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) After a rather tough play, A.K.Sh Albania's Fotaq Berisha got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 5 minutes into the match, Florentin Gougeon had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fotaq Xaka. A.K.Sh Albania's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florentin Gougeon was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Andoni Zubizarreta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermir Bardhyli in the 11th minute of the match. A collision led to Valencia C.F. getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Cristian Mosquera hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Kempes in the 15th minute of play forced A.K.Sh Albania's goalkeeper Fotaq Xaka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Florentin Gougeon took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fotaq Xaka. Fotaq Xaka dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. If Arbnor Dabulla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A.K.Sh Albania's Fotaq Xaka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mário Kempes in the 23rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Trim Dragoti got free with Andoni Zubizarreta in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 28 minutes of play, Valencia C.F.'s Florentin Gougeon made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fotaq Xaka was left in no man's land by his defense there! Florentin Gougeon blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fotaq Xaka having to make a save. Fotaq Xaka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mário Kempes in the 34th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Valencia C.F.'s Florentin Gougeon got a free kick in the 40th minute. After some careless play in the A.K.Sh Albania defense, Florentin Gougeon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fotaq Xaka. The A.K.Sh Albania fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fotaq Xaka should have stopped the shot. In the 47th minute, Ken Singleton hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Ermir Bardhyli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andoni Zubizarreta having to interfere. Valencia C.F.'s Andoni Zubizarreta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Trim Dragoti in the 59th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 62 minutes, Florentin Gougeon put it in 0-5 from a short distance just to the right of Fotaq Xaka. In the 65th minute, Fotaq Berisha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arbnor Dabulla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Andoni Zubizarreta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of A.K.Sh Albania booed when Valencia C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fran Pérez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 76 minutes into the game, A.K.Sh Albania's Ermir Bardhyli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andoni Zubizarreta made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. 84 minutes into the match, A.K.Sh Albania's goal looked a bit too open when Florentin Gougeon came free, but Fotaq Xaka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute, Ermir Bardhyli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Valencia C.F. fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Valencia C.F.'s Florentin Gougeon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-6 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.K.Sh Albania's goalkeeper Fotaq Xaka, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Andoni Zubizarreta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Trim Dragoti in the 96th minute of the match. In the 97th minute Florentin Gougeon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fotaq Xaka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valencia C.F.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
