The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Veli Topalli hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Benjamin Hörmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Edgar Samuelsson made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when José Büchel got free with Edgar Samuelsson in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 24 played minutes Borussia Dortmund got a freekick which was hit by José Büchel. If Benjamin Hörmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brahim Aliu scored 0-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ulrich Haas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 37th match minute, Borussia Dortmund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Büchel to maneuver through the defense. Tritan Dragoj took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulrich Haas. Ulrich Haas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Leader of Lemurs's Edgar Samuelsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Leader of Lemurs from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Brahim Aliu to strike the kick off in the second half. André Jann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Samuelsson having to interfere. Borussia Dortmund's Ulrich Haas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Borussia Dortmund from getting a goal against them. Ulrich Haas made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Tritan Dragoj sent off a good shot on target. Dario Casutt hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Kevin Poonoly charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Kevin Poonoly the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dario Casutt hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 63rd minute by Brahim Aliu got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Leader of Lemurs's Edgar Samuelsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Hörmann in the 85th minute of play. Dario Casutt hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Leader of Lemurs's Veli Topalli shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 90th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Ulrich Haas but with some difficulty. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brahim Aliu in the 91st minute of play forced Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper Ulrich Haas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Leader of Lemurs had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
