Florentin Gougeon received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Giannis Gounaris came out and tried to block the shot, but Florentin Gougeon slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. After a rather tough play, FC Karamba's Oskaras Matulaitis got a free kick in the 6th minute. With a little luck, FC Karamba's Giannis Gounaris got control of the ball when Florentin Gougeon tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentin Gougeon in the 9th minute of play forced FC Karamba's goalkeeper Giannis Gounaris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valencia C.F.'s Andoni Zubizarreta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yiyo Blea in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Florentin Gougeon reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Giannis Gounaris. The goal made the score 2-0. 17 minutes into the match, FC Karamba's goal looked a bit too open when Fran Pérez came free, but Giannis Gounaris reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Andoni Zubizarreta showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaunius Petkevičius in the 20th minute of the match. Alfonsas Miceika made in the 23rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Lukas Uggstedt. The Valencia C.F. fans' excitement grew in the 25th match minute when Valencia C.F.'s Florentin Gougeon looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Lukas Uggstedt got a throw-in 30 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Jaunius Petkevičius. The audience thought a goal was coming when Florentin Gougeon got free with Giannis Gounaris in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Florentin Gougeon came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Valencia C.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Florentin Gougeon couldn't finish the play. Andoni Zubizarreta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaunius Petkevičius, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. 43 minutes had been played when some careless play by Valencia C.F.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maksymilian Cisek was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Karamba's players had a chance to rest. It was a well-played corner which Oskaras Matulaitis managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand.

Pau Cubarsí made in the 54th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Lukas Uggstedt immediately put the ball in play. Pau Cubarsí recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 58 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s goalkeeper Andoni Zubizarreta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaunius Petkevičius. In the 62nd minute, Diego López hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 64 minutes of play, Valencia C.F.'s Florentin Gougeon made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Giannis Gounaris was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 68 played minutes Valencia C.F. got a freekick which was hit by Diego López. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Valencia C.F.'s goalkeeper Andoni Zubizarreta, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 76th minute Eddi Ramkilde shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andoni Zubizarreta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Yiyo Blea fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Karamba's protests and gave Yiyo Blea a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Karamba getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Yiyo Blea hit a great ball. Oskaras Matulaitis's late challenge caught a Valencia C.F.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oskaras Matulaitis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute, Oskaras Matulaitis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 86 minutes into the game, Alfonsas Miceika threw the ball into play from the sideline. Valencia C.F.'s Fran Pérez quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Valencia C.F.'s Andoni Zubizarreta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eddi Ramkilde in the 87th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Eddi Ramkilde got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Giannis Gounaris took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florentin Gougeon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentin Gougeon in the 92nd minute of play forced FC Karamba's goalkeeper Giannis Gounaris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eddi Ramkilde's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andoni Zubizarreta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. FC Karamba's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Valencia C.F. had won, even though FC Karamba had held more of the ball.
