Ulrich Haas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Florentin Gougeon could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Ulrich Haas made a huge save. After 65 minutes of play, Valencia C.F.'s Florentin Gougeon made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ulrich Haas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Florentin Gougeon in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ulrich Haas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Borussia Dortmund getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Kevin Poonoly hit a great ball. Florentin Gougeon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 77 minutes into the match, Borussia Dortmund's goalkeeper Ulrich Haas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ken Singleton. Florentin Gougeon took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ulrich Haas. Ulrich Haas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. In the 91st match minute, Borussia Dortmund was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kevin Poonoly to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Borussia Dortmund defense, Florentin Gougeon kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ulrich Haas. The Borussia Dortmund fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ulrich Haas should have stopped the shot.
