In the 6th match minute, ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Casutt to maneuver through the defense. Herbert Good showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ámundi Hallmundsson in the 7th minute of the match. Mórits Hamarsson charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mórits Hamarsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mórits Hamarsson hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Æsir Ásgarðr's Rósmann Eðvarsson got a free kick in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute, Noah Amadeo Rahel sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Æsir Ásgarðr's Skarphéðinn Ormarsson didn't even have to move. In the 12th play minute Ernst Cakir came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Skarphéðinn Ormarsson. 1-0. Sólbjörn Guðnason's late challenge caught a ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sólbjörn Guðnason helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th match minute, Æsir Ásgarðr was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sólbjörn Guðnason to maneuver through the defense. Æsir Ásgarðr's Sólbjörn Guðnason couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 20th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ. Herbert Good showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sólbjörn Guðnason, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. After 27 minutes, Sebastian Casutt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ and the Æsir Ásgarðr players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 27th minute, Sebastian Casutt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Æsir Ásgarðr's Skarphéðinn Ormarsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernst Cakir in the 34th minute of play. Skarphéðinn Ormarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roland Hilbe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Mórits Hamarsson was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 47 minutes had been played. In the 49th minute of the match, Julien Marxer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Skarphéðinn Ormarsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 53rd minute, Ernst Cakir ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Skarphéðinn Ormarsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. The supporters of ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ booed when Æsir Ásgarðr was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bjarnar Hjartarsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sólbjörn Guðnason sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 69 minutes of play, ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's Ernst Cakir made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Skarphéðinn Ormarsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 74 minutes of play, ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's Bernd Heid made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Skarphéðinn Ormarsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Skarphéðinn Ormarsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddy Moser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Skarphéðinn Ormarsson came out of the goal in the 81st minute to try and stop a shot by ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's Ernst Cakir. But to his dismay, Ernst Cakir quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Maggi Borgþórsson kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Skarphéðinn Ormarsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernd Heid in the 87th minute of play. After 88 played minutes Æsir Ásgarðr got a freekick which was hit by Neisti Runólfsson. After some careless play in the Æsir Ásgarðr defense, Ernst Cakir kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Skarphéðinn Ormarsson. The Æsir Ásgarðr fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Skarphéðinn Ormarsson should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Eddy Moser managed to get in a good position for a shot. ꜰᴄ ꜱᴄʜᴇʟʟᴇɴʙᴇʀɢ's supporters rose to their feet, but Eddy Moser was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Skarphéðinn Ormarsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernd Heid in the 96th minute of play forced Æsir Ásgarðr's goalkeeper Skarphéðinn Ormarsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roland Hilbe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
