Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tadeo Ignado started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diómedes Rodriguez in the 4th minute of play forced River CBBA's goalkeeper Nemesio Abella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in River CBBA's zone, José Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nemesio Abella came out of the goal and José Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 8 minutes into the match, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goal looked a bit too open when Tadeo Ignado came free, but Sergio Gutierrez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 9 minutes had been played when some careless play by ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Reinaldo Merlo was slow to take the kick. During this time River CBBA's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Reinaldo Merlo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Sergio Gutierrez did a great save. Tadeo Ignado struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Sergio Gutierrez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for River CBBA. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lazaro Abadie during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 13 minutes into the match, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Miguel Pimentel broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Tadeo Ignado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Gutierrez having to interfere. Nemesio Abella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diómedes Rodriguez, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after River CBBA's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Miguel Pimentel took the corner. The corner led ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Miguel Pimentel to fire away a dangerous shot which Nemesio Abella despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sergio Gutierrez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tadeo Ignado's shot from short distance in the 20th minute. Nemesio Abella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zheko Kraychev, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. 25 minutes into the match, River CBBA's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Moscoso came free, but Nemesio Abella reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s José Ramos fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. River CBBA's attentive Julio Olarticoechea managed to snatch the ball when Jon Birkfeld made a throw-in in the 34th minute of the game. Jonatán Maidana kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Lazaro Abadie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Nemesio Abella stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zheko Kraychev's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalkeeper Sergio Gutierrez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 55 played minutes River CBBA got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Göransson. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Lambis Kostopoulos was substituted for Humberto Moscoso. Aaron Göransson hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Diómedes Rodriguez scored 1-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nemesio Abella, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Tadeo Ignado scored to the left of an out of position Sergio Gutierrez, making the score, 1-2. When River CBBA's Tadeo Ignado in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s goalie prevented a goal. In the 76th minute Tadeo Ignado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Gutierrez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fernanco Abarca kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After 78 played minutes River CBBA got a freekick which was hit by Fernanco Abarca. After 81 played minutes River CBBA got a freekick which was hit by Aaron Göransson. When Diómedes Rodriguez came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diómedes Rodriguez couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diómedes Rodriguez in the 88th minute of play forced River CBBA's goalkeeper Nemesio Abella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. António Alzamendi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Sergio Gutierrez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 95th match minute, River CBBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joam Abaurre to maneuver through the defense. After 96 played minutes, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Lambis Kostopoulos shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Nemesio Abella came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ►Las Mercedes F.C◄ reached it. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. River CBBA had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
