After a rather tough play, River CBBA's Aaron Göransson got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Nemesio Abella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lonzo Corullon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Popolizio in the 5th minute of play forced River CBBA's goalkeeper Nemesio Abella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. River CBBA's Nemesio Abella played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gianluca Popolizio in the 7th minute of play. Nemesio Abella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Popolizio, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Tadeo Ignado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Phelipe Escarza made a huge save. 19 minutes into the match, Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Quintan Ontavilla sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nemesio Abella narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nemesio Abella made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gianluca Popolizio in the 20th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aldo Popolizio in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nemesio Abella saved River CBBA from getting behind. The Deportivo Popolizio FBC fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Aldo Popolizio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Nemesio Abella showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aldo Popolizio, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. River CBBA's Julio Olarticoechea managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Herminio Maceira in the 44 minute of the game. Aldo Popolizio scored 0-3 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nemesio Abella, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tadeo Ignado to make the kick off. Nemesio Abella made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Aldo Popolizio sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gianluca Popolizio in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nemesio Abella prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 57th match minute, River CBBA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonatán Maidana to maneuver through the defense. In the 60thth minute of the game Tadeo Ignado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Phelipe Escarza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tadeo Ignado in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Phelipe Escarza prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Phelipe Escarza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Ignado in the 68th minute of play. Lazaro Abadie hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. After 72 played minutes River CBBA got a freekick which was hit by Lazaro Abadie. In the 73rd minute Gianluca Popolizio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nemesio Abella saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Deportivo Popolizio FBC's Herminio Maceira in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye River CBBA's goalie prevented a goal. Nemesio Abella was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aldo Popolizio showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 77 minute of play. With a little luck, River CBBA's Nemesio Abella got control of the ball when Aldo Popolizio tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 84 minutes of play, River CBBA's Tadeo Ignado made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Phelipe Escarza was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Cheng Ang Ning had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Deportivo Popolizio FBC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than River CBBA.
