The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. With a couple of smart ball manuevers José Ramos in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tabby Leceta saved Halcon Sport 69 from getting behind. Tabby Leceta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Moscoso in the 21st minute of play. A collision led to Halcon Sport 69 getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Bermund Bacardi hit a great ball. In the 22nd minute of the match Miguel Pimentel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tabby Leceta skillfully saved the ball. In the 37th minute, Jacobo Pan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Placido Amarelle charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. In the 87th minute, Diómedes Rodriguez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tabby Leceta was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. The referee felt a red card was in order, 92 minutes into the game, when Arkadiusz Czekaj put in a rough tackle. When the match had been going on for 94 minutes, ►Las Mercedes F.C◄'s Lambis Kostopoulos got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Tabby Leceta. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
