The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Vinícius Juniors recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristobal Cepa in the 9th minute of play forced Sakura Storm's goalkeeper Zakir Novruzov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sakura Storm's Zakir Novruzov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Saverio Burcena in the 12th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sakura Storm's Severino Carriedo got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 21st minute, Vinícius Juniors got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Lesardo Rosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeusz Dziechciowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Oswaldo Garijo kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hayalim Kedoshim's goalkeeper Lesardo Rosa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Hayalim Kedoshim's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeusz Dziechciowski came free, but Lesardo Rosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Tadeusz Dziechciowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lesardo Rosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd minute of the match Sakura Storm got a corner. Hayalim Kedoshim's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marvelous Ronaldinho ran over to the corner to take the kick. Lesardo Rosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeusz Dziechciowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute of the match Sakura Storm got a corner. Hayalim Kedoshim's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marvelous Ronaldinho ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Hayalim Kedoshim's goalie and right to Severino Carriedo. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Hayalim Kedoshim's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Zakir Novruzov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Saverio Burcena, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 43 minutes into the match, Hayalim Kedoshim's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeusz Dziechciowski came free, but Lesardo Rosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Hayalim Kedoshim's Chico Pineros was substituted for Segundo Udaeta. Hayalim Kedoshim made a substitution. C.J. Stussy replaced Cristobal Cepa. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tadeusz Dziechciowski to strike the kick off in the second half. Kaku charged in rather forcefully in the 67th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed C.J. Kaku the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Hayalim Kedoshim's C.J. Kaku got a free kick in the 68th minute. Tadeusz Dziechciowski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lesardo Rosa having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Vinícius Juniors ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lesardo Rosa was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 78th minute, Marcos Evangelista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lesardo Rosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tadeusz Dziechciowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tadeusz Dziechciowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Lesardo Rosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Hayalim Kedoshim getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Hacı Baba hit a great ball. In the 97th minute Marvelous Ronaldinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lesardo Rosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Sakura Storm had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
