The supporters of Sakura Storm booed when Made in Paraguay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Iztal Autran didn't get a good kick on the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Sakura Storm's Vinícius Juniors sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Modesto Farto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tadeusz Dziechciowski made a kick off. The referee ignored Made in Paraguay's protests and gave Fulgencio Limia a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd minute, Fulgencio Limia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Vinícius Juniors had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Made in Paraguay's Generosb Gipils got a free kick in the 77th minute. Vinícius Juniors sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. There was no doubt that Sakura Storm were the better team. Sakura Storm's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
