When Orlando Fernandez fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buenaventura FC's protests and gave Orlando Fernandez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 8th match minute, Buenaventura FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. 9 minutes into the game, RAMBO FC's Benvide Cercalde nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leonidas Barrera made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Leonidas Barrera made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Benvide Cercalde sent off a good shot on target. After 12 minutes Buenaventura FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Godfried Van de cauter who took care of the corner kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Buenaventura FC's goalie and right to Tello Picado. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Buenaventura FC's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Leonidas Barrera made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Anastasio Severino sent off a good shot on target. RAMBO FC's Belarmo Campelo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romel Torrijos in the 17th minute of play. Belarmo Campelo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romel Torrijos in the 32nd minute of play. Belarmo Campelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Toro Martínez in the 33rd minute of the match. When Polo Laime fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RAMBO FC's protests and gave Polo Laime a yellow card for diving instead. Polo Laime kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 37th minute of the match Romel Torrijos sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Belarmo Campelo skillfully saved the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After a rather tough play, RAMBO FC's Bizen Gormaz got a free kick in the 52nd minute. In the 56th minute Anastasio Severino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonidas Barrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leonidas Barrera came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by RAMBO FC's Tello Picado. But to his dismay, Tello Picado quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Leonidas Barrera came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by RAMBO FC's Benvide Cercalde. But to his dismay, Benvide Cercalde quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. After a rather tough play, RAMBO FC's Leo Laime got a free kick in the 69th minute. Belarmo Campelo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romel Torrijos in the 73rd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, Anastasio Severino cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Leonidas Barrera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 80 minutes into the match, Toro Martínez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Belarmo Campelo, 6-2. Leonidas Barrera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benvide Cercalde in the 85th minute of play. Anastasio Severino struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Leonidas Barrera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RAMBO FC.
