Ronaldo Palet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Leonidas Barrera made a huge save. Agapito Payet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romel Torrijos in the 7th minute of the match. Ronaldo Palet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leonidas Barrera having to interfere. Agapito Payet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romel Torrijos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Buenaventura FC's Leonidas Barrera got control of the ball when Gaspard Gil tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Buenaventura FC's zone, Ronaldo Palet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leonidas Barrera came out of the goal and Ronaldo Palet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gaspard Gil charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaspard Gil the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 41st minute, Orlando Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Gaspard Gil came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Todos al Fondo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaspard Gil couldn't finish the play.

When Ramón Morris fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Buenaventura FC's protests and gave Ramón Morris a yellow card for diving instead. Ramón Morris hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute Gorbea Helguera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonidas Barrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pablo Bermudez charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ronaldo Palet in the 64th minute of play forced Buenaventura FC's goalkeeper Leonidas Barrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonidas Barrera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Palet in the 67th minute of the match. When Rodolfo Avendaño came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Todos al Fondo fans jumped to their feet. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gorbea Helguera in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Leonidas Barrera saved Buenaventura FC from getting behind. After 76 played minutes Buenaventura FC got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Bermudez. After a rather tough play, Todos al Fondo's Rodolfo Avendaño got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Gorbea Helguera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute Ronaldo Palet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonidas Barrera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agapito Payet made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romel Torrijos in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th minute, Ronaldo Palet sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Buenaventura FC's Leonidas Barrera didn't even have to move. 91 minutes into the game, Gorbea Helguera cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Leonidas Barrera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Todos al Fondo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
