Intimos de Reynoso's supporters rose to their feet, but Belasko Aguiluz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacinto Ostots breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sigvald Birkborg's late challenge caught a Intimos de Reynoso's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sigvald Birkborg helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, OROTINENSE's Sigvald Birkborg got a free kick in the 41st minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Belasko Aguiluz got free with Jacinto Ostots in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Taio Lereira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Jacinto Ostots made a huge save. The Intimos de Reynoso players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. OROTINENSE were winning 0-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Belasko Aguiluz was the one to do the kick off. After 81 played minutes OROTINENSE got a freekick which was hit by Nery Hurtado. 1-6 came in the 86th minute when Sigvald Birkborg all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Milio Cuero. After 88 played minutes OROTINENSE got a freekick which was hit by Mao Nan Ao. An unexpectedly hard shot by Goito Becerril in the 90th minute of play forced OROTINENSE's goalkeeper Jacinto Ostots to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute Ricardo Orozco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Milio Cuero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute of the match Sigvald Birkborg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Milio Cuero skillfully saved the ball. Milio Cuero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Echeverria in the 95th minute of play. Frichoso Fermosel hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
