The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Apoena Izquierdo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Club Getafe Deportivo's Renato Rivera. Renato Rivera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Club Getafe Deportivo booed when A.D. Alcorcón was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Toxeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 14 minutes into the match, Licerio Cano notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of A.D. Alcorcón's Juanito Erosa. Juanito Erosa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 16 minutes into the match, A.D. Alcorcón's goal looked a bit too open when Licerio Cano came free, but Juanito Erosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juanito Erosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mahoma Abrego in the 18th minute of the match. In the 23rd minute, Celedonio Pedraza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.D. Alcorcón fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. A collision led to A.D. Alcorcón getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Apoena Izquierdo hit a great ball. In the 31st match minute, Club Getafe Deportivo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mahoma Abrego to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute Apoena Izquierdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renato Rivera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Club Getafe Deportivo's goal looked a bit too open when Celedonio Pedraza came free, but Renato Rivera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Apoena Izquierdo kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Apoena Izquierdo's late challenge caught a Club Getafe Deportivo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Apoena Izquierdo helped the player get up and apologised. After 63 played minutes A.D. Alcorcón got a freekick which was hit by Alanzo Torrente. After 67 played minutes A.D. Alcorcón got a freekick which was hit by Saverio Alfaro. 81 minutes into the match, Club Getafe Deportivo's goal looked a bit too open when Alanzo Torrente came free, but Renato Rivera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Licerio Cano in the 87th minute of play forced A.D. Alcorcón's goalkeeper Juanito Erosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Baldemer Abrego hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
