Maximino Cristofanini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dennis Hekman in the 46th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pascal Bults stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, MK Investments's goal looked a bit too open when Roel van Zalingen came free, but Ruben Rolink reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maximino Cristofanini didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jacco van Dartel went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 61st minute, Rolf Korevaar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacco van Dartel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Maximino Cristofanini made a huge save. In the 68th minute, Vitinho Favoretto made a precise shot to the right of Ruben Rolink. MK Investments's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Jacco van Dartel took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Maximino Cristofanini. Maximino Cristofanini dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Maximino Cristofanini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dennis Hekman, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Augusto Soeiro's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Maximino Cristofanini firmly grabbed it by the left post. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
